GOURMET TRAVELLER’S WINE LIST OF THE YEAR 2014
Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club has again been honoured at the Gourmet Traveller’s Wine list awards. The wine list was assessed on its content, balance, suitability, presentation and pricing and was awarded a Goblet as a “Recommended” list. As published in the August Gourmet Travel Wine Magazine: “The members of this historic club are rewarded with this eclectic mix of tried and true wines along with new-wave producers from remote viticultural regions around the world. Value is the key with the bonus of some useful information to guide the novice. The wines matched to the daily menu add gravitas, as do offerings from benchmark producers like Moss Wood, Henschke and Grosset.”
